It is much easier and more enjoyable, to learn yoga from an experienced teacher. Especially at the beginning, a teacher’s presence and ability to actually see you and respond to what you are doing, is essential for building your confidence that you are doing yoga properly.

If you're new to yoga or you are a pro it's always good to head to a studio for in-person instruction. Teachers can provide personalized feedback, and they can offer modification suggestions for different poses that simply aren't possible to get through online or video-based platforms.
If you're new to yoga start with a beginners class.
With a free class you will be able to check the studio and meet the teachers.

Visiting a studio is a great way to try different styles of yoga. You will be able to build your knowledge of yoga practice. William Mitchell and Samuel Nwokeka met on their first Yoga Teacher Training in GOA, India. Soon after being back in the UK they both realised that Manchester needed a hub for yoga.
